Global brand image strategy
Spotify
Details:
Company: Spotify
Role: Lead comms designer
Project: Global brand image strategy
About the project:
The main objective was to create a global brand image library for Spotify, a diverse and versatile collection of images to be used across all brand and marketing channels worldwide. Another key goal was to define and unify the overall visual expression, while establishing a scalable production model that could continue over time.
Following an extensive planning phase, the project was executed over three months by a small, agile team in four locations – Southern California, Barcelona, Tokyo, and Singapore – capturing a wide range of markets and cultures.
The creative direction focused on real people in authentic, music-driven moments, making the viewer feel part of the experience. The imagery was intentionally simple, emotional, and natural, celebrating genuine stories and the universal love for music.
Photographers were Petrus Sjövik and Musse Hasselvall.
Examples from the global image library shot in Barcelona, Tokyo, Singapore and Southern California.
